Description

Organic orange peel adds citrus zing to cakes and cocktails. The bright, zesty flavour is wonderful in muffins and scones. You can also pair it with dark chocolate to make a tart or mousse.

The peel is obtained from leftover or irregular slices of Mill & Mortar’s dried oranges. The drying process locks in the taste and aroma of the fruit. It also helps it to retain its beautiful orange colour.

Dried peel can be used in sweet and savoury recipes. It’s a great way to add subtle orange flavour without adding moisture to your recipe. Try baking a batch of orange-flavoured shortbread or sprinkling it over cupcakes.

The tangy granules are great in salad dressings and sauces. You can add a pinch to marinades or a rich sauce for duck.

Dried orange peel can be used for mixology, too. Use it to infuse spirits or to rim the glass for an Old Fashioned.

Store in an airtight container in a dark, dry place.
