Description

This Puglian olive oil with lemon in a terracotta bottle contains Galantino’s finest Fruttato Medio olive oil, that has been gently blended with the sweet citrus flavour of lemon. The beautiful terracotta bottle design makes it a stunning piece of art for your kitchen you will want to treasure long after the bottle is empty.

Galantino have used the same traditional cold-pressing methods for generations, using olives from one of Italy’s oldest olive growing regions.

The Medio is a fruity olive oil with a mellow and balanced aroma. It has a smooth and creamy taste at first, but finishes with a powerful peppery kick. It is balanced with a subtle lemon flavour for an added tang of sweetness that makes this olive oil gentler and easy to use. The layers of balanced flavour makes it unlike any other in your cupboard.

The fresh notes of this oil make it ideal to dress a simple salad, or drizzle over meat or vegetables before oven-roasting to add a subtle zesty flavour.

How to open

These ceramic bottles are corked and can be opened with a traditional T-shaped wine corkscrew. The bottle’s cork is much shorter than a regular wine bottle, so only a couple of screws are needed to get a firm grip. Pull out in a controlled and slow movement. If the cork breaks, a Cork Stopper will allow for a controlled pour and to preserve the oil.
